Deze 5-weekse cursus (wekelijks op donderdagavond) is bedoeld voor iedereen die wil leren werken met onze unieke collectie analoge instrumenten. Je maakt kennis met onze drie studio's, waarbij alle facetten van elektronische muziek aan bod komen — zowel theoretisch als praktisch.
Tijdens de eerste lessen leer je de apparatuur in de studio's kennen en ontdek je hoe alles via patchbays en mengpanelen met elkaar is verbonden. We behandelen de basis van het opzetten van eenvoudige patches. In de daaropvolgende lessen duiken we dieper in de details van specifieke gear en synthesizers. Ook sound design en compositie komen uitgebreid aan bod. Tot slot is er ruimte om individueel aan de slag te gaan en sluiten we de cursus af met een gezamenlijke jamsessie.

Educatie & Samenwerking
Naast reguliere cursussen en workshops biedt Willem Twee Studios educatieve programma's voor studenten. Wij werken (of werkten) onder andere samen met: Instituut voor Sonologie (Den Haag), Fontys Conservatorium (Tilburg), ArtEZ Mediamusic (Enschede) en HKU Muziek en Technologie (Utrecht). We staan altijd open voor studenten, scholieren en leergierigen van alle niveaus.
This 5-week course (held weekly on Thursday evenings) is intended for anyone who wants to master working with our analogue instrument collection. Participants will be introduced to our three studios, and all aspects of electronic music will be covered—both theoretical and practical.
In the first few lessons, you will get to know the equipment in our studios and learn how everything is connected through patchbays and mixing consoles. Setting up simple patches will be discussed. In the following lessons, we will dive deeper into the details of specific equipment and synthesizers. Sound design and composition will also be covered. Finally, there will be time to work individually, and we will conclude with a collective jam session.

In addition to our courses and workshops, Willem Twee Studios also offers educational programs for students. We work and have worked together with, among others: Sonology The Hague, Fontys Conservatorium Tilburg, ArtEZ Mediamusic, Music Technology HKU, and others. We are always happy to welcome students, pupils, and learners of all levels.
